Sims 3 hair conversion request

Well, I have a request but I'm not sure if it's possible but I was wondering if someone here could convert a sims 3 hairstyle to work on Oblivion? I'm not sure if sims 3 hairstyles are possible to convert like sims 2 hairs though. I assume so but I guess I don't really know. Well anyway this is the one I hoped someone could convert, pretty please? ^_^

But before anyone says anything about it not being allowed without permission, I have gotten the proper permissions from the creator of the Hair, and have gotten permission from the admin of the website. -.-

Just let me re-post the email from the Admin though.

Hi there.

Newsea is a staff artist, paid to create hair meshes exclusively for The Sims Resource, so yes, those creations are the property of TSR.

If you wish to use a single hair mesh for free distribution in a game NOT related to The Sims then we are happy to oblige on this occasion, as long as credit is given to Newsea/The Sims Resource somewhere in either your distribution notes or distribution website. If your intention were to use more than one mesh or to sell the content, or to distribute within The Sims community then permission would not be granted without financial recompense. This is also not permission to continue to use further meshes for future projects, free or not.

Hopefully this makes our stance quite clear. If you do use a hair mesh we would really like to see it in game via screenshot or have a link posted to the content once freely available so please do keep us posted!

Good luck with your project.

Steve,

The Sims Resource.

Just do what he said about giving proper permission and giving him a link and whatnot and it should all be fine. ^.^

Mhm, I don't know if this has been done before. Sims3 hairs use a totally different file format than sims2 hairs. Sims 3 hairs already have transparency, that's a plus. But this would require SimPE for the sims3 and that thing is still reeeeally buggy. Does this hair maybe exist in a sims2 version? I am sure that would get your request done a lot faster.

From what I've seen there doesn't seem to be a sims 2 version. >.<

Converting Sims3 hair IS possible with a different program. Tell you what, I'll do a little research and, if i can find the program I'll convert it for you, coz I want that, too.

Oh my gosh, thank you Desu! ^.^
