I'm not sure if sims 3 hairstyles are possible to convert like sims 2 hairs though. I assume so but I guess I don't really know. Hi there. Newsea is a staff artist, paid to create hair meshes exclusively for The Sims Resource, so yes, those creations are the property of TSR. If you wish to use a single hair mesh for free distribution in a game NOT related to The Sims then we are happy to oblige on this occasion, as long as credit is given to Newsea/The Sims Resource somewhere in either your distribution notes or distribution website. If your intention were to use more than one mesh or to sell the content, or to distribute within The Sims community then permission would not be granted without financial recompense. This is also not permission to continue to use further meshes for future projects, free or not. Hopefully this makes our stance quite clear. Sims 3 hairs already have transparency, that's a plus. But this would require SimPE for the sims3 and that thing is still reeeeally buggy. Does this hair maybe exist in a sims2 version?
