DonnyGrimm
Hello, my name is Donny Grimm. I'm looking for a skilled group of dedicated modders to assist me in creating an extensive questline based around a massive, populated prison. Let me explain. This should be easy to grasp for anyone who has played The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. I thought it was a really great concept, being able to break out of prison in Oblivion, but it seemed a little simplistic. Pick a lock, sneak past a couple guards and you're out. In CoR you had to devise an intricate plan to escape a hostile prison environment by earning the respect of your fellow inmates, sparking a violent riot, trudging through the dark, dangerous sewers, battle through or evade squads of ruthless guards as sadistic as the convicts they house, and ultimately take down the tyrannical warden in your bid to earn your freedom. Now THAT is how you escape a prison. On another note. Prisons are massive, even in a medieval era that Oblivion emulates so well. But the imperial prison is barely sixteen cells most of which are empty. I want a prison that extends several floor with several dozen cells on each floor, which i know drops the FPS severely which is why we should try a more aethetic aproach. (not likely we'll need to be on every floor anyway.) I'd be lying if i said i knew anything about coding and i'm not much of an artist which is why i need your help. I'm not looking to be a leader i just want to create something with the help of some skilled partners. I'm not going to be writing a storyling for this until i can get a team together, however i do have many ideas i will happily share with those who ask. If you're interested in helping out or just have some questions, feel free to PM me.
David Brasher
I recommend that you learn to mod. Truth be known, there are tons of writers and tons of voice actors. But the writers can't find any modders to do their bidding, and the voice actors can't find anyone with the technical skill and time to put their voice files into the game. So if you were to learn the construction set and build a large portion of your prison, it could be like the folk-tale "Stone Soup." Instead of asking people to do all the work for you, you can say, "Look at this cool prison I built! Now if I had a scriptor to help me and a modeler, think of how much cooler we could make it!"
