They won't appear until you have saved the town and the castle from the undead, have you done that yet?

Yes i have

FYI, in my first char (darrian) they are appearing (i did the arl of redcliffe first then the paragon of her kind)

but they are not appearing at all at my 2nd char (theron) istead a lot of villager appear in front of the chantry court (i did the paragon of her kind first then the arl of redcliffe)

I had this issue with a mod I installed called Nvariety [ nude variety] its a cool mod but if its installed it may be boogering up the events in redcliff. I also had weird things random like counldnt access the bar in lothering etc. I am not saying this is the cause but mb check to see if u have this mod installed?

You could:

(a) Play on with NVariety installed. You will miss one or two side quests ("Grease the Wheels" and "Skin Deep").

(b) Uninstall Nvariety and load a save from a time previous to the plot flag tripping. I do not know where that flag is positioned. It could be when the Castle is won or it could be tripped upon first entry into Redcliff.

I just played on with two characters; one had gone through Redcliff before installing NVariety and one who had gone through after and is missing the quest givers. Most of the quests can be gotten from other areas. The reason that I was playing both was to ascertain if other plot flags would have been affected. Of course I over-looked the obvious flaw in my logic which was that I would have to install or uninstall NVariety every time I swapped characters.

I will still continue with both characters but I will have no confidence in the results so not really keeping track.

Cheers

Not sure if this is really what's going on. I've played through DA:O multiple times with NV4 installed and never had Redcliffe mess up. But I have heard of others having a similar issue with the Redcliffe "quest givers" not appearing after you've completed the main efforts (with and without NV4 at all.)

In any case, I don't think anyhone has found a better solution than the two offered here: "Play on", or "Reload an earlier save."

Sorry...

I tried solution number 2

i have a save file before the zombie night where we need to prepare the village

but

when i tried to load that save after i uninstall NV4 (the over ride, the potion, and the installer)

my DAO stop working

It happened with my other save too

even though they are not related (i can't load my other char, even the save file from the Golem of Amgarrak)

So i decided just to re install the game

(=__=)" sigh. . .

Is there any other mod that i should be aware of?

If you un-install NVariety it is VERY important to transform all of your characters back to their vanilla form. Otherwise the game will crash.

If you have not actually re-installed the game yet, try putting NVariety back in and either live with it or do your transformations back to the originals and THEN un-install.

Cheers.
