Ph33rSn1p4Z
There's nothing in the BBSTextureSet which dosen't make any sense. I don't see how I can find the texture still. :/
davidlallen
Well, there are two parts. Do you agree that the filename I gave is the correct one, textures\dungeons\vault\VTrim03.dds ? Then at least you can make progress on your retexturing. The second part is to learn how to find the next one on your own. Are you able to find any texture filenames in nifskope? I guess you have found some other ones, but did you have a method? It seems if you can find any of the texture filenames, you should be able to find all of them. Please give a little more detail on where you are stuck.
Ph33rSn1p4Z
I found the other textures (with FOMM) since they have obvious names, like VGearDoorR11.dds (not sure if thats the actual name, I just remembered it from the model). Thats why I can't find the drills thingy name. Edited February 5, 2011 by Ph33rSn1p4Z
davidlallen
It sounds like you are able to follow the first part of my instructions and find the textureset item. Double click it and look below, in the object detail window. This will show some string data. Open that, and inside are the filenames. Is it working for you? Ph33rSn1p4Z
That's what I'm talking about. I followed a tutorial on youtube, but once he got to the BBSTextureSet part, I just couldn't see what's inside it. I can't expand it in any way. Ph33rSn1p4Z
And can you tell me what you think about my Vault? xDhttp://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/297961-vault-100-wip/
davidlallen
It seems you are thisclose! to solving it. I took a second screenshot just after the first screenshot above. After finding the right section of the file by selecting the non-rusty column, I clicked on the BSShaderTextureSet just below it. Then the block details section at the bottom has a "Textures" section. I clicked on that to expand it, and here I see the filename VTrim03.dds you originally requested. Can you get nifskope to give you this same information?
Ph33rSn1p4Z
Ooh! I need to be able to see Block Details! Damn why didn't I think of that before...
