ReALty
Can you give the Ring of Burden from the Cheydinhal Mage's Guild quest to npcs? If you can will they not be able to move and stand in the same spot for eternity? Also can you find the guy that gave you the quest? I sure would like to have a "friendly " little talk with him. WastelandAssassin
well, if by giving you mean reverse pick-pocketing, then no, you can only give items that weigh 0 this wayif you have access to an NPCs inventory than maybe you can give it to the NPCnot sure if this will have any effect though (the companions i had didn't have a maximum inventory size, so i can't really say about NPCs inventories) as for the guy who gave you the quest, if you mean Falcar, don't worry, if you advance enough in the Mages Guild quest line, you be able to have a very friendly conversation with him (i don't want to reveal too much information, but let's just say that you will see him again before the end of the Mages Guild quest line)
ReALty
Thank you for your quick reply WastelandAssassin. Can you give it to a merchant in the trade menu like other items that have no value? I haven't tried that yet because I left the ring in the Mage's guild near a watermelon (so I could find it again) before my feather potion expired. Thanks for not telling me too much because this is my first playthrough. That ring sure surprised me but fortunately I make Feather potions mainly for loot moving purposes. WastelandAssassin
as far as i know, you can sell this ring, though you get nothing out of itif i recall correctly, i have sold it once myself basically, there shouldn't be a reason why you can't sell this, as it's not a quest item and don't mention iti have writing spoilers that can actually spoil someone's playthroughalso, enjoy your Oblivion time
