Povuholo
Sometimes quests don't advance while they should. Usually people exit Oblivion, open the CS, find the quest ID and the stage, run Oblivion again and enter the command. But this can be done in a much faster and easier way. First select the quest which you are having problems with as the active quest. Then open the console (~), type SQT and press enter. Some information will now appear. On the top of this list of information it will show the ID of the quest, and it will also mention the current stage of the quest several times (>> Getstage). With this information you can change the stage of the quest. So if it says: Active Quest: MS40>> GetStage 20 You open the console and type: 'SetStage MS40 30' without the brackets. Usually the stages are made in steps of 10 (Bethesda's quests, modded quests may be different) but you can try smaller ones too, just to be safe. If nothing happens, the stage you wanted to set it to doesn't exist. and of course:Save first, as some quest stages may be quite undesirable.
