Instant death/freeze upon entering Tanleytown/friendship station

Please confirm if i understood correctly - You need a save game where i have stripped down and dropped all the items and where i haven't enabled your provided plugin?

if that patch is sufficient then no I need not any more, your good to go, but if you still have problems? then I would need it.

I have the same issue and not too many mods. I can fast travel anywhere and enter every interior but when it comes to entering Tanleytown station it CTDs on me. Load order is sorted with Loot.

exact spots required ,and a saved game for the spot is also required.

IF your game matches that of the other poster, it takes me seconds to produce a correct patch for you.

But if your load order is bad? then the patch won't work no matte what i do.

 

you can try the patch already uploaded but I doubt it will work for you, his was made using his system recorded data..AKA that saved game file...VIA the geck.

I had tried using the patch you made to no success, I never really expected it to considering it was actually made for his file only. I had also stripped naked and disabled all mods expect for the game and DLC and that didn't work. Should I link an image with the entrance that makes it crash as well as a save with only the vanilla game + DLC enabled? I'll do that as I wasn't exactly sure of the wording of the previous posts. Let me know if it is actually something else. It's not the same entrance that the other guy was at but the destination is the same. Also, I enabled God mode like he did and it loads for triple the amount of time before crashing as it does when not using the tgm command.

I put all of my items inside a blue mail drop box near the escalators if that matters at all.

Although it didn't fix itself when completely removing all of my mods I reinstalled the game and my mods from scratch and it works fine now.

this type of problem falls in a category I have made / kept tracks of.

Normally it is a cause and reaction of overwriting the wrong data, this comes about from installing older data over top of newer data and back and forth.

The path....(PATH) ... is that of instructions to allow information to load in a sequence of events in order for it to produce the pixels you need to see on screen.

 

when this path is altered bu overwrites of files, with in some files contain "PATH" instructions that "Expect the data, the right data built for those instructions to be there".

 

your problems arise when this data is not in it's expected spots ,rather data that may seem to match, does not internally.

here is how it's hidden from you , the path instructions with in the files names...Like a mesh file...with not only point to a texture, it may infact point to several textures.

If the mesh file in question is not there or is but is not the same "Intended file", then you have an issue. No way at all for you to find this.

It is finite in design. But, in order to find and fix the issue, there is available the source, the root of the games Vanilla files, where it all starts, If there is a location, I can find the issue because there is only so much data in vanilla that was designed to be there...this data CAN not be overwritten.....the bsa archive's hold that information and are always there to draw from.

Not just to the people posting here. You have to know how to break the game ,what breaks it before you can fix it.

Path....Load order and Path ,Categories internal of that path.

open any large plugin...in xedit any version, expand it's tree's, how many categories do you see ? they should always be the same in Order ,that order is the date of productions of the Original content...so is the sort orders, but mods them selves do not always reflect this, ergo, that Path is now broken.

 

Software tools tell you "out of order errors are present. Do you think a program can think? if so, leave this hobby, AI is not that advanced yet and for our sakes, you better hope it never is.
