Shader causing ctd

yep just what I was thinking, That my friend is your problem, I am very sorry I failed to ask this before we got all involved in this.

your operating system will not allow change the desktop display colors "RGB" rendering's...that Folder "C:\Program Files (x86)" is system protected.

some of your game files now have system locks assigned to them..there are detected by system properties turned off to view hidden files, then you will see all the gold locks and all your files...basically hun, your locked out from editing the game files.

This is a well known fact.

Steam will need to be moved, and with it goes all it owns so you need to pay a visit to steam headquarters and search for MOVE steam.

D:\games. or C:\ Games....any place other than a system protected directory.

It's not your fault...it's mine for not asking you first.

Only the fose files have the lock, but that's just strange that only items that have been in my inventory cause the crash. Shouldn't all the items with the shader cause the crash. if it's never been in my inventory it doesn't crash.

I'll try moving it to my main steam install folder (C:\Steam\steamapps\common\). the current place is from before I found out how to move steam files to antoher location.

IN software It requires only 1 ( ; ) to disable a function..so, if any files are locked, what ever they may be, and are required to run...will not run, are prevented from running from the system it's self.

4 bytes of code is all it takes to disable the game just 4, that's all.

it still crashes after being moved to C:\Steam Games\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty

it's no different then it was to begin with.

Running as admin doesn't make any difference.

moved the gamemode to onequip and onunequp. the game freezes for a second. the sound starts playing for a second then the game crashes.

ok, well because of events so posted, we know there was system influences with the game.

The only thing left is the saved game files...if you are still unseeing the originals? then the code effecting this outcome is stuck in them.

you've run out of options here.

I can not reproduce this bug here with your data, and sense my system is not effected as your s is, your saved game file will get cleaned up here If I ran it here on this system and still have no crash effect....But ! it will show other things with in the code stored in that file.

I don't run FOSE here so know that before asking me, it won't run here do to that, if it did, it would end up being corrupted any way.

some things just make things worse, some times it's simple to fix, never give up. Think it out, I see it all the time, when we think things out, we find the answers to problems that seem to not have an answer too...you did reach out, others know of this plight.

any one willing to get involved with the saved game runtime issues? that's what is needed.

now, what I see getting posted is the story as it unfolds for every one, this game just hates us, It does not like being manipulated in this manner.

re-verify the steam catch, files integrity and reboot before running the game again.

I have no more to give here.

Made new save.

It's looking like it's the gamemode block doing it.

when I change the script so the shade is applied when the glasses are on. the shader appears for how long it is set to then turns off, but while it is on I can pick up the item like normal.

I changed the script back to what is posted in the OP and it crashes when I pick one of the dropped items up.

I'm gonna have to find a way to loop the script after a certain amount of time and when cells load.
