A Map Reset Option

I have always wanted to keep my current character and just restart the game as is. I do not mean reset my character but just reset all maps and quests. This could include a safe room that you could store anything you want in it.

 

I have no idea if it is possible, and it could be a problem with some mods but I think it would be cool.

all i can think of is an early hard save to restart but you lose money weapons and gun mods back to the begining as well

 

are you wanting to keep what you gained but restart the game levels and progress only?

 

you can do stuff like that with the editor but im told it fubars the way the game treats your progress, i think because its figured its used only for cheating

no I am talking about resetting all npc intereactions, quests, enemies, etc. For instance without a mod which may not even exist, once you kill the deathclaws at quarry junction, they no longer respawn. This reset would reset all npc spawns and act like you have never been anywhere or talked to anyone.

well i like the creatures to respawn because some areas i cross do seam to forget to respawn randomly but since i started using ther Increased Wasteland Spawns Mod i dont really see that anymore

 

as for quarry junction its a catch 22 thing because the quarry is empty so miners can return to it so the thing thats missing there is not the deathclaws to respawn but the miners should spawn as random sandbox routines walking all around the quarry but i havent seen that ever happen

 

one thing i dont get about the game or understand why you dont see it is a random deathclaw outside of the quarry area, but i guess they figure you wouldnt have a chance against them early on
