Morfium
Hi guys, after seeing the fo4 trailers and announcements I was intrigued by the idea of an external pipboy application.Being a web developer myself I thought about something like a webserver (maybe inside a fose/nvse/[skse/obse?] plugin), that propagates the stuff you'd normally see inside your pipboy/inventory/etc to an website. This would allow you to use any device in your network, capable of viewing a website to actually view your inventory/map/etc.And ideally allows for controlling stuff like flashlight and equipping/using items/change radio stations/play notes/set quests active/view the map.I checked the example plugin of nvse, but I'm not really good at c++, nor do I know how exactly such a plugin would have to be build and if it's even possible. I mean stuff like controlling pipboy features via nvse.If this is possible and done right, it would also be expandable. Like controlling additional modded things. Maybe switch flashlight color or a slider for intensity. Or maybe a function to drop all items of a certain type. Or a viewable crafting schematic book, notes, whatever.Okay, maybe my wall of text inspires someone to do a similar thing. :)
