I get a popup whenever I load up a save with a "$" sign, then I die.

It's caused by my mod Vampire Revolution.

You get a message saying "$" because of a little bug in the message system I'm still trying to fix.

 

The fact you die is another problem: it means you don't have all requirements.

When you die, open the console and search what VR is typing here. Probably you don't have AddActorValues, or you have an older version, or you didn't install it correctly. (Also, tell me what message you see in the console, so you can help me locating the bug in the message system!)

Oh shoot, I was wondering what I forgot to reinstall after I uninstalled Oblivion, i'll try it out later and tell you the results. Thanks!

Thanks, i'll be sure to pick it up. Im sure any message is much better than a cryptic $ sign :P. It honestly would seem like a decent Anti-Piracy measure :P
