I think its the main body that is the problem. Set it to 4333, 4845, 13037 all dont help at all. it is increadibly madding and has been a source of annoyance for ages. It seems to be avery common problem for me when doing alpha work and would like to beat it so I can make more bottle work. Assuming the label can be got to work the next thing would be a liquid filling but that has similiar problems as the label. Zip contains a vodka bottle nif and textures for the glass and label. Anyone help?

Fumofumo
Eh.. Alphas are such a fickle beast in this crappy Gamebryo Engine. The thing doesn't like overlapping and renders them like crap.. Anyway, I'm looking into your mesh more or less as an experiment for myself and to help you out though. I'm pretty sure I tried 4846 but I'll test it out again. Edit: Hmm, apparently that rendering issue is only in GECK. Looks fine with 4845 no threshold on both the bottle and label in-game. 4846 seems to work too. Edited February 7, 2011 by Fumofumo
lordinquisitor
http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/9065/alphaissue48454846nocha.jpg Thanks for replying. 4845 and 4846 are no change ingame. You can see from bottom but not when viewed from above the horizontal, if you go inside the bottle it shows however. So I am not sure what is going on. Fumofumo
http://i.imgur.com/pBZ8b.jpgOdd, you changed the NiAlphaProperty of the label and not the bottle right? Not as shiny but it seems to work on my end.
lordinquisitor
Major thanks for replies and I have got it to work now. I was adjusting the glass instead of the label. That label actually belongs to another bottle. Will post another with liquid if I can't get it to display right. Part of the issue is on my side. Multi-sampling was off so the glass was more visible and the labels not showing, when I but it on the label appeared and the glass became very transparent. Multi-sampling was off due to driver issues, in that this driver and card a non standard one dont like multi sampling. Go's all dotty on edges and in screenshots. Will have to make another less transparent glass so its not so hard to see. Not really sure on liquid inside for vodka as good vodka in see through. Whiskey and wine would need a coloured liquid inside. Will have to see if I can get liquid inside, Glass and Label to work correctly now.
