Sonic144 Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 Hi to everyone After I exit the Vault (I mean 101 @ the beginning) the game crashes when I am near Springvale .It also crashes in the wasteland, if i am far away enough from the exit of Vault 101. So I cannot leave the region around the the vault 101 - "Cave". The difference between BP0 and BP1 : BP 1 has less plugins integrated.It does not matter which Bashed Patch I use (or even if use Bashed Patch at all), it keeps crashing. GrizzlyUK Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 (edited) First off, Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm should be right after Fallout3.esm and before the DLC .esm's, as per the FAQ section of the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch readme:Q: What's the best place to put the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch in the load order? A: The Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch should ALWAYS be set to load first to avoid conflicts with other mods, the file date of Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esp has been set to 01\01\2001 so you won't have to worry about changing the load order. Now onto other things that you need to look at. Have you checked that all those mods you say have been "merged or integrated into Bashed Patches" have actually been fully merged or integrated? Have you checked each mods readme file to ensure that you have any and all required files? Also check for any info about known incompatibilities and details on getting different mods working together. Make sure you have the correct versions, some mods require specific versions of other mods to work properly so don't just blindly install the latest versions. Unfortunately, the more mods you install the harder it becomes to get them all to play nicely together. It gets even harder once you start adding in the big overhaul mods like MMM, FOWE etc. In this case, seeing as you say you can't get away from the Vault 101 entrance without the game crashing, I'd suspect either required mod(s) are misssing or there's a conflict of some sort. Try creating a new Bashed Patch but do not fully merge or integrate any mods, that way you can enable all installed mods and see if the game still crashes. It's never easy finding the cause of a crash, it could be load order, missing required mods, incompatible mods or any number of possibilities.
