lustrianna Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 Hello everyone. I just picked up Dragon Age a few weeks ago and Im LOVING it! I play Female Human Ranger, (love having pets, its a girl thing). My mod request today is for the big ugly dog pet companion. I love havin him along, just because it seems more fitting for my character to have as many animal companions along as possible. Only problem is, i hate how he looks. I dont even like that hes a dog at all. Is there anyway to model the dog to be, any other creature from the game besides a dog? talents and things can stay the same, that doesnt bother me, id just rather have something more interesting, like a Bronto, Dragonling, or Werewolf. If i had to narrow it down, id say a Bronto or Werewolf would be the most interesting. Is this something I can do myself with the DA Toolset? If not, is something like this even possible to achieve? DarkeWolf Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Well, there are a couple of mods that change the appearance of Dog to that of some of the wolf bodies. Keep in mind tho that the change will not take affect if the Dog has already been spawned in the game. Not a fault of the mods its a problem with the game engine not updating the model.http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=112http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=734 But trying to change him to something completely different like a werewolf or dragonling won't work. Some of the skills are connected directly to the body shape, and they will not work if you change the shape too drastically. There was also a companion mod that allows the player to find a dragon's egg that they can raise from egg, to dragonling, to dragon, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called, or able to find it :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
