birthsign creation - expected problem

hey ppl

 

i'm trying to create a new birthsign from scratch... without picture as i can't even open the window to choose it...

 

well i could create it but when i open the birthsign menu to choose... it appear all right (name and description) but when i select it and click "close" button to choose it does nothing... simple as that... it's like as the button wasn't there... :confused:

 

could you explain me how to create a birthsign from scratch to see where did i gone wrong?

 

i'll be appreciated

 

 

PS: whoever loves to be a bad mage (yeah a necromancer), you'll love this birthsign... :tongue:

Forget about what i've said... i've got a question... it's my fault or it can't be possible to summon 8 creatures at the same time? in the same spell?

It is indeed possible to make a spell that summons 8 creatures at a time. Although you should only run a mod with that feature on an upper-end computer due to performance issues and possible CTDs.

 

To see an example of how something like that can be done, look at this mod: Stygian Castle

 

The technique used in Stygian Castle is to have the creatures in an interior cell which is a holding cell, and use the MoveTo command to bring the creatures to your position when you need them. When they die or you unsummon them, they go back to the holding cell. If they are dead when you resummon them, they are resurrected before they arrive.

 

Do not use PlaceAtMe, because that is just not nice. You can bloat savegames badly and they can become unusable.

ok i understand... the fact i haven't explained is when i summon them (it's an horde of undead creatures... ghosts skeletons zombies...) they appear... but after that they disappear and some of them they move left like a movement mesh problem... half a second later... they're not there... :wacko:

 

is that a problem of being so many summons at the same time? because it's 3 skeletons 2 ghosts and 3 zombies... as 8 creatures appear at the same place that must be the problem... just like what happen when we do movetoqt... when the map reload we appear "inside" the quest target... slowly we start "coming out"... if you know what i mean...
