Always random encounter

you remember in fallout 3 that there were random encounters but they stayed that way forever?

well what if someone made a mod that redid that to be different each time for new vegas. i say it would be awesome.

for example say you go to a powder ganger hideout but instead theres bloatflies. then when everything respawns and you come back theres radscorpions.

if that is possible i would love for that to be done.

i suggest a new world space for this thing though.

so the vanilla areas will look right or something.

or maybe only do that in certain areas. i would try to help if i can.

increased wasteland spawns mod adds variety and randomness to everything so try that

doing something to (places) i think will screw with the games scripting and cause errors and bugs with quests and things because you cant find or talk to charactors if a swarm of big bugs killed everyone

Hmm well the big problem in New Vegas is that everything is crammed in so tightly, so the average serious gamer would want to think about how to apply random encounters without damaging the realistic structure of the factions and territories. For example, it'd be nice to walk down the road after the Goodsprings area, and not have to encounter powder gangers in the same spot and same repetetive manner and using the same strategy as always, right? Now obviously, as the topic makes sense of, one could replace the gangers with some randomly generated wild creature, but then how would the powder gangers raid the *imaginary* caravans? Okay so weve got only a SLIGHT problem here, as random encounters means that at least occasionally the powder gangers will be on the road. Anyway, the reason we want random encounters is to mix up the strategy and what not; so the long awaited point of this explaination is that maybe a modder could set patrol routes to the powder gangers, such as from point A (the crimson caravan wreck) to point B (the connect of the Goodsprings road and the Powder Gangers road). This would not only mix up the strategy and imagery, considering the varying locations you may run into the gangers, but would leave room for another static spawn such as a bloatfly in place of the original static powder gangers (statics as I call them refer to any monsters/people that arent patrolling or stay in the same spot). Imagine casually encountering the static bloatfly and then suddenly having some powder gangers come blasting your flank; also, similarly, imagine looting the crimson caravan wreck and then being flanked and forced to take cover in the trailer nearby.

Now we can sit here and imagine the possibilities but it takes a modder to cleverly place a mix of patrols, statics, and random encounters in order to create an immersive, challenging, and enjoyable experience.
