A great mod idea

I do not have the skills to do this myself.

 

I believe an arsenal would be a great mod!A wall where you can store the weapons you've found in the wasteland.An armory,basically.A wall with pegs to hang up your weapons,so you can see the fantastic arsenal you've acquired!This should also be compatible with other weapon mods,such as CFWNV.

 

Anybody else think this is awesome?

 

Also,a gasmask helmet mod would be great.I think gasmasks are really cool,and it would be a great addition to your character to make him/her look as badass as he/she really is!

A few of the player home mods already have such a weapons rack. Unless you mean a sort of "fill it up yourself" type of thing. This MIGHT be hard(I dont know; I'm not a modder) since every weapon has a different size from the others. For example, the Lever Action Shotgun has a smaller width than, say, any of the laser rifles. So any sort of "pegs or hooks" would have to be sized to each weapon.

 

Now, if someone could make a rifle stand that holds the rifles in a vertical position(barrel pointing up) that could work better as the player would have an easier time of manually putting the rifles into it as opposed to a wall mount.

 

As for a gasmask - appearance-wise, the mask that the NCR uses(the one the sniper uses in the video) would be a good base, but without any sort of gas weapons in the game, any function as a gasmask is pointless. If one could add a mask from the 50s(that was meant for use by civilians in during a nuclear war) not only would it look cool but would be quite lore friendly. It's a filter box worn on a belt, and is conncted to the mask via a hose. I'll try to find an image of it and post it up so you can see what I mean.

I agree a arsenal wall would be hard to make,but i didnt mean manually pressing Z and sticking it up there,i meant a slot for each different weapon,sort of like a challenge to collect every single gun in the wasteland.
