relyks Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 I'm having a strange issue where the game crashes whenever I get near robots, Sentry Bots or Mr. Gutsy's seem to be causing it, not sure which. I know its not a graphics error because I've tried turning every graphics option on and every one off. The game crashes either way, even if I can see them fine. It seems the problem is in their AI or scripting or sounds. I've tried disabling every mod and starting a brand new game. I can start a new game and TGM and run to the crashed vertibird where there are always Sentry Bots and Gutsy's and it crashes every time. I first noticed the problem when I was doing some new dungeons in A World of Pain, but like I said, I disabled all mods and it still does it. I have uninstalled ffdshow, tweaked the ini with the hwnumthreads and threadedai commands and still it crashes. Sorry for the wall of text, but I could really use some help here. I've been a registered member and have been using mods for like 5 years and I've never hit a wall like this. I always make a merged patch whenever I add mods and never use quicksave or autosave. I'm really stumped on this one though. Other than this problem I never crash except for the memory leak thing after 4-5 hours. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
