OBLIV_2008
Ok, here is the problem. Looking through the scope on the DKS501 rifle there is red transparency that actually makes it harder to see the target. I found the .dds file that makes the view for the scope. The name of the original file is dks501scope1.dds, my thoughts were if I took another .dds file that was a view through a different scope and replaced it. First thing I done is made a backup of the original dks501scope1.dds file, I took another .dds and renamed it to the dks501scope1.dds, only now the screen is black with a huge white box. Well replacing the original the screen is still black with a huge white box. This is the only rifle I done this on and it is not one that I really use that much because of the red transparency. Could someone please help me get this straightened out. I also would like to know how to modify the color of an existing mesh. When I try to save the file using NifViewer, it attempt to save to file other than a nif file. The DKS rifle is from a mod file that I downloaded.
