hurrdurrmurrgurr
In an attempt to cut down on crashing I tried to install the maximum window.exe but when I went into the fallout launcher to set the game to windowed mode, the launcher decided that I've got a 7900gs graphics card and that's the only card which comes up. The resolution on that card doesn't even hit 1920x1080. How do I force the game to use my actual graphics card and use the right resolution? The fallout tweaks guide says I can change my resolution in falloutprefs.ini but I can't find a file like that in my fallout folder and I checked the falloutdefault filr and the indiviual fallout settings files. EDIT: Ok the sound does work, I was just being an unimaginable moron and had my speakers off. Edited February 9, 2011 by hurrdurrmurrgurr
luthienanarion
I assume you're using one of the d3d9 dll fixes? They work by spoofing the graphics card that the game detects. Delete or rename the dll file and the launcher will detect your video hardware again.
