Yeah I can throw in a hidden vampire room, no problem.

Haha I wish. I just had to go through a few weeks of finals so couldn't be bothered to do anything.

 

I was actually able to spend some time making new models this weekend so I made a new tileset for the castle dungeon since I felt the old set was just lacking in versatility and wasn't aesthetic enough. I've spent the last few days implementing the pieces into the creation kit and designing more levels and pieces for the crypts..currently i'm having issues with the creation kit crashing every 10 min or so that has both slowed progress and added a new level of annoyance to the project..all of that said I hope to have some pics of the new design up in a few days.

This is with the new tileset. The first picture is of a cave i'm working on in the crypts beneath the undercroft that is shown in the second big picture. The crypts is accessed by the spiral staircase and its is going to be a labyrinth of secret passages, tunnels, and hidden rooms. And the circle thing is a hub that will have 4-8 halls extending from it and in the center i'm planning to add a secret door that hides a spiral staircase that will lead into a vampire's lair or something of that sort.

Thats awesome! Is the crypt accessed from the Keep itself or the Chapel etc.?

It's currently accessed from a door on the exterior of the castle kitchen, however it will be accessible from the keep and chapel via a secret tunnel.

Thanks guys :cool: its coming along fairly well. I decided I'd take a short break on the crypt to get a plan for the layout down. In the meantime I thought id finish the castle buttery and here are the results (minus a few candles).

Thanks melancholyroar, that's what I'm trying to go for..as long as I don't go overboard as I tend to want to do. Here are the finish (I think) shots of the kitchen with a few added pieces and servants quarters. The next thing i'm planning is adding a laundry room in the basement of the kitchen, which I'll prolly have to make new more era appropriate clutter items for since I haven't seen any modders resources that have the right feel.
