Thanks :)

Trust me the creation kit is the easy part making tons of assets is the pain..most of the time anyway..unless I'm dealing with scripts or standalone characters then I'm better off banging my head against a wall.

Speaking of models I'm about to start working on the players bedroom funiture (specifically the bed) which could add some time to the release date since I've decided to go overboard on it.

A small suggestion, how bout adding a small black market to the city?

Hell if even possible make it challenging to gain access to the inventory let alone to the market itself.

Thieves need to prove themselves, good guys they need a really really good reason to even be possibly allowed access.

I was serious about the spikes though, dining under the spikes of your enemies.

I guess that's just me then :p

lol i got a idea on how you could do that someone from the town would come up to you saying someone stole all your money (leaving you broke XD) while in the regular market from there you can ask someone for information (another thief) he would say he knew nothing unless you could steal an item. this random item could have gaurds everywhere making it hard to steal after you retrieve it the guy will tell you he does not know who but sends you to find a person who does (local guild master) you find him and he would send you to pick the pocket of some wealthy imperial who has a valuble gem and replace it with a fake and a letter to frame him for like stealing it or something like that. afterwords he would want you to persuade a gaurd to arrest the imperial for that he goes to jail and the guild master reveals his identity and gives you your gold back. :3

I could add a black market and such to the city when I get to that point of development. However you guys have to remember two things.

1.) The city comes with the 3rd installment of the mod and it is quest based. Now the nature of this quest and your reason for invading highrock thus taking the city likely wont mix with a blackmarket...to put it simply without giving to much away the land will be in dire straights much worse than skyrims civil war.

2.) You will be a Lord thus the law of the land you would have no reason to deal with a blackmarket. In fact you would likely try to destroy it or control the market depending on your morality. (Could be an interesting quest actually..might add it in at some point. ;) )

As far as someone stealing from you I don't find it feasible you would barter with anyone (especially a thief). There's a reason people didn't steal from there liege in medieval times..they were the law thus above it themselves, and most likly many heads would roll for such a crime. Not to mention to get to the castle vaults you would somehow have to get past 30+ guards, scale multiple walls, and know the castle layout intmently without being detected.

Someone could steal from one of the settlements but that would fall into the hands of the local petty lord/knight not the player. Now if someone were to raid the settlement then it would require the players attention. This is a feature i plan to add where the player can go out with a group of house blades and hunt the raiders down and bring them to justice.

Ps I sent this from my phone so please excuse grammar errors.

What is the second thing? :psyduck:

If your talking about the raids these are not going to be random attacks they will be part of the main quest, thus only happen once. Its all part of the experience

well the black market can be used in ur favor to abtain rare items of war to defend ur city for exampe (defend the walls) catapults and dwarf turrents (need more armor for your soldiers) black market deals in many and all kinds if u got the coins. if you need intel on enemy movements you can pay to get such intel on like cargo haul, enemy camps or even eventual attacks. but ya the whole lord thing might be a prov hense the silence and discretion.

plus he wouldnt out right tell you they are thieves thats the whole trial to become one with there guild. n ok so they wouldnt steal from you why not a accidental murder of someone close to your authority (thane) when a heist went wrong that should get ur attention u would think it was a type of threat against ur life (like the emperor assassination) which leads u to investigate the "thanes" house and see he was dealing with the BM n owed alot. lol idk
