Duff1996
Okay so I decided to go back to New Vegas and upon launching the game I noticed that the screenshot of my save was transparent showing the menu background slightly which I didn't remember it being like before. Upon loading the game there are basically no textures at all, I tried disabling ENB, updating ENB, Disabling mods, validating game files, re installing 4gb launcher + archive invalidation invalidated. Nothing worked so I reinstalled the game and it's the exact same thing. I don't get it and would much appreciate any assistance.
Johnathon
Did you check your graphics settings in the launcher to make sure they didn't get turned all the way down?
Duff1996
Did you check your graphics settings in the launcher to make sure they didn't get turned all the way down?Yep, at this point I have honestly done everything I can think of. I've now uninstalled the game twice and second time around I manually deleted all left over files.
Dimitrisgrr
Do you have anistropic filtering on ? Did you update your drivers ? Did you make any changes to your hardware ?DReally weird problem...Does it do the same thing on a new game ?
Duff1996
I've got the latest beta driver from AMD, the only hardware change since I last played was my hard drive but I've reinstalled the game twice now so I figured if that was the issue that would've solved it. Yeah AF is on. It's like the game is just incapable of rendering the textures, no problem like this in any other game. I'm not at my house just now but would it be worthwhile seeing if fallout 3 has the same problem? If it's fine then I can presume that it's not an issue with my pc or the engine and is specific to vegas. RandomAlex
Could be that you are using a beta driver. It wont be the new vegas files since a reinstall would fix anything to do with that.

Tried using normal driver same problem. Also the exact same thing is happening in Skyrim and Fallout 3?!At a loss here. Tried everything I can think off, don't understand why it's just Bethesda games.
SirTwist
If you have a laptop, you may want to change some settings in the BIOS/CMOS. If it's a desktop, and you don't have a graphics card, then same thing with the laptop. (Also, go shop for a decent Nvidia card at your local Best Buy store, or other computer parts store. Don't shop at Wal-mart for this stuff.) If you do have a graphics card, make sure, while the computer is off, that it is fully seated, with a screw attaching it to the frame, and the power cord firmly connected. After this, check your settings on the graphics card, and make sure your game graphics are close to the maximum allowed. (I love my geforce card, and software, it optimizes my games for me.) Then, try playing the game. If you still have problems, slowly change one setting at a time.

It is only since not playing for a while and then going back to them that this has suddenly appeared. The only hardware change since then has been my hard drive but every other game is working fine apart from Day Z SA which had a similar problem, however I haven't investigated this further to see if it's a separate issue or the same as Fallout+Skyrim's.
