Anybody want to start working on a fallout 4 mod?

*(I acknowledge that this is a fallout topic in a TES forum, but since they are both Bethesda games and there is no official fallout 4 forum yet, i figured this was as good a place as any to advertise. If a mod or admin must remove this I apologize for assuming wrong.)*

I know, I know, "but its not out yet." Well were not going to be making in game assets yet, or at least the ones that we need to know how the next G.E.C.K works. But, aside from that I need people who want to write quests and backstory, concept artists, sound guys and people who can model and texture the assets that we CAN work on right now.

So, wanna help? Its a full DLC size mod with a new location, characters and everything. My idea is super awesome (at least I think so, but that's an ego thing), and I am capable of leading a team like this (hold on for a minute, and I'll convince you [maybe]).

I'm not known at all in this community, but I have worked with the Alagaesia Creation Team for a while and contributed many 3D assets to the project including armor, structures, plants/fauna and creatures, and also helped with story development.

I've uploaded a few pictures as a sample of my modelling work. Most of it it is not in a mod anywhere but personal projects.

Now, its time for an outline of my idea here, that's gonna be below.

-THIS IS BELOW -

Around the second half of the 21st century, international tensions are ever increasing. Political backstabbing and espionage are commonplace and the world is ready to explode into war. People are worried for their safety as global conflict on an unparalleled scale seems more and more likely every day. Vault-Tec, a United States government-contractor begins construction of the vaults, underground shelters meant to be habited for hundreds of years in the event of a nuclear catastrophe. Another company (yet to be named) deemed the vaults an 'economically friendly' option to post-nuclear survival, and sought to create a more luxurious method to surviving the impending war. After much deliberation it was decided that instead of going down, they must go up. Construction on the ambitious project began immediately, shuttle after shuttle was launched under the guise of satellite repair to bring the supplies and manpower needed to construct a super-massive orbital space station. It was designed to be self sustaining, gathering its own oxygen, generating its own power and growing its own food, and it was designed to remain habitable for a very, very long time. The space station was kept secret from the general public, only revealed to rich, powerful and famous. By 2074 construction is nearly complete, and the station is deemed mostly habitable. During the last years before the bombs fell there was a rash of celebrity and government 'disappearances', as the increasing tension and threat of war drove many to leave for the station as soon as they could. On October 23rd, 2077 everyone's worst fears were confirmed as a nuclear attack was launched. The last shuttle for the station carrying important supplies and another wave of residents launched early, in a successful attempt to outrun the bombs.

Years later (whenever fallout 4 is set) the station has fallen into impoverished decay and violent civil unrest. Overpopulation and a totalitarian regime has created chaos, revolution and anarchy. Several anti-government factions arose and battle the ruling forces and each other, vying for control of the station. The Vault dweller somehow (as I said, it's a work in progress) makes it aboard and cant leave again until the resolution of the main questline (which is the political power struggle happening aboard the station), then travel back and fourth between the station and the surface is accessible at any time.

For those of you who are interested, head on over to http://theundertakin...a.org/index.php. The recruitment process is somewhat stringent, as for obvious reasons, but not too bad. If you ever visit without the link, be sure to add the '/forum' as the website is still under construction and doesn't have a home page yet. Most of the threads in the forum are invisible to guests and normal members, you have to actually sign up to help to see beyond general discussion, news and the new members thread.

*EDIT* I am still working on the forum, so a few things might look a little out of place, but its completely functional so don't worry if you see something odd.

I'm not some idiot fresh off the street wasteland, and with a team to help me and create with me, we can make this a possibility.

Don't have any textures atm, I haven't really modeled since my days with ACG and I lost most of that to a computer crash, But I can texture something I have done soon here. Probably the knife would be the easiest to unfold and I could get that to you sometime soonish.

Collaboration eh? I guess that could work. When you say collaboration, how do you imagine that? The collaborating, I mean. Like how do you imagine my (future, currently non-existent) team working with your team? And the mods we are both producing, how would we designate what to work on at what time? I'm only hesitant because I've seen this tried before and it didn't really work out too well for one of the two teams.

But all that aside, I'm interested in your project if your interested in mine.

By collaboration I really just mean sharing assets that we both may need, so if you need an Electronic Pulse Rifle and I just made one for my mod, then you can use it. If you make something that I need, you share it with me.

That, and just keeping a general dialogue open about what our mods do and what part of the game world and lore they effect, so that we don't have two large projects overlapping on one another. So if I have my stuff built on a certain hill, you would know not to have your quest involving that area where the mods would contradict each other and crash the game.

I'm not looking to combine teams or anything, I just think keeping an open dialogue between modders with big plans benefits the community as a whole. Also, it is good to brainstorm with other modders, even if you are going in different directions with your projects.
