Fallout: NV back to Oblivion

Is it at all possible to use the items from another BSA file in Oblivion? I'd like to re-create a building from Fallout: NV for personal use, but I can't seem to find any information on how I would go about this. If I can't use the same items as they were, how would I extract the meshes and all that from the BSA?

For the record, I don't intend to distribute this if I can get it working.

you can extract items from a BSA using FOMM or BSA Commander

so you can use the resources inside there, in any way you like, that isn't breaking the law (so as long as you own copies of the games, and do it all for your personal use, i think it's ok)

as for using a building, you will probably have to recreate the building, as it usually comes as resources, not as a fully made model (at least as far as i know)

that depends on which pool you just jumped in

are you talking about modding in general, or about converting New Vegas into Oblivion??

because modding in general isn't easy, but it's also not too hard, if you can give it the time and effort you need to learn and experiment

as for converting a game into another, it's much harder, as there are much less options, so you can't really experiment

also, this is something that most people won't be able to help you with (all of this is just my opinion, so i may be totally wrong here)
