Projectiles hitting thin air close to environment?

Hello everyone !

 

I've been playing for a while and with my present configuration of mods makes it quite hazardous to go out guns blazing,

shooting in the open like only Rambo and Mr. Norris *chills from using His name* do in the little screen and have learned

the hard way not to do that in any circunstance AT ALL... On top of that I'm fond of the "find a good spot and take a good shot"

style of combat, witch not only helps me sorry ass not getting shot most of the time, but saves me a lot of procious rifle cartridges ! $-D

 

So, cutting to the chase... MANY times I had that nice clean shot, from afar or close and personal, BUT ! The damn projectile

hit the invisible edges of a damn tyre wall or palisade instead of the shiny, glistening head it was supposed to !!

And this p*ss me the friggin offf !!! Not to mention ruining the atmosphere of creeping behind 6 heavily armed mean super mutants...

 

So what i'm searching for is a way to reduce this kind of environmental accident...

I imagine this would involve quite some work with the models, but would be insanely happy if someone helped to think this one out...

Maybe setting them (or a part of them - if possible, I"m not aquainted with modeling at all) as "Small Transparent" or reducing these

invisible edges (again, I dont know where, how, if it would be worth the trouble or even possible) as much as possible...

 

I find it incredibly frustrating and think that its quite outraging when it happens... hahahahaha

Anyway... if someone could inform me a little more on this matter I'd be imensely grateful !

 

And sorry for being so "eloquent" hahahahaha
