hector530
im going to buy my first gaming pc for skyrim, battlefield 3 and anyone other crap i want. i dont know much about gaming PCs but i want it pretty high end. so after some research i thought the GTX 580 would be the best choice but im after doing some more im left wondering if 2 560ti would beat a single 580. here are the spec for my PC, its loaded with the 580 but the daul evga 560tis would save me 62 bucks over the 580. if want to give me any tips on this PC please do. http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=483475 intel icore i5 3.3 ghz 8 gb ram gtx 580 this is the video that made me rethink about getting a 580, since 2 560tis are beating it in everything and thats before there overclocked like the EVGAs are. Vecna6667
What resolution do you play at? SLI is overkill on resolutions of 1920X1080 or less especially the 500 series graphics cards. EDIT: Plus SLI uses up a lot of power, so if it isn't needed, don't use it. While I said that SLI is overkill at1920X1080 or less, a single 500 series card can handle 1920X1200 resolutions for most games.
