Bad_Skeelz Posted November 4, 2003 Share Posted November 4, 2003 While on one my 1000 mile treks across Morrowind, I stumbled upon the curious tower of Holamayan. It rests on an island of the east coast of Vvardenfell, roughly parallel with Molag Mar. When I first came across the island while waterwalking, I was attracted to its dock with a boat. Next to this boat is a girl who has the travel option in her inventory, but whenever you talk to her she says "I must continute with my private devotions" and you are forced to say goodbye. I suppose theres something in the tower I need to kill to obtain her services, but back on topic. After going up to the top of the island I found a large, Redoran-style tower. On the minimap there is a door going into the tower. The only problem is the door seems to be inside of the tower itself. I hit the bottom most wall a good 6 feet before I get to the door marked on the minimap, and I found nothing farther up the tower upon levitating. I searched the perimeter of the island for a backdoor but, aside from a grotto with nothing but pearls and dreugh, found nothing. If there is a secret crank like the one at Arkengand, or some other way to open this tower up, any information on the subject would be appreciated. DreamOfTheRood Posted November 4, 2003 Share Posted November 4, 2003 Of course, there is a secret to get into Holamayon. In fact, you'll find out what this secret is as you go along the main quest. If you find out the secret before you reach a certain area of the main quest, it takes the suprise away. Let me tell you, the surprises inside this place are vital to the main quest. So just wander away from it for now and continue on the main quest. You'll get yours eventually. Edit: I believe "Holamayon" might be a purposeful misspelling of "Holy Man!" Dream ... Ohh and the door is under that shell looking thing in the front. and it lifts up. You can get into it before the main quest though just find a faq for details. After going up to the top of the island I found a large, Redoran-style tower. 1) In the dawn hour, under Azura's Star, the door will be opened. 2) It is a Velothi style tower, not Redoran. 3) The Dunmer monk outside will transport you back to Ebonheart when the time comes.
