Modzillaz
I have used tutorials to learn to create custom dialogue, and have run into a problem getting the WAV file to create a lip sync. I have searched forums, but have found no mention of this particular issue. I am hoping that someone can help me uncover a solution. Whenever I attempt to create a lip sync file I get the following message: LS Error –Data\Sound\Voice\etc…file info… dialogue line… - “The Impersonator Library data files were not found." I can hear the WAV in the CS and the MP3 of the dialog in the game. To the best of my knowledge, I have used the correct frequency and bit rate in mono as required and have placed the sound files in the proper directory. I have even tried copying other lip sync files and renaming them to match mine just to get the lips moving, but that doesn't seem to work either. I am using Soundforge to create the sound files, but also tried downloading Audicity and using it without success. I can only guess that the Impersonator Library data files are not accessible because of my folder setup, but I am working in the subdirectories that are listed in the tutorial. I am stumped at this point.
SickleYield
Yikes! Sounds like it's having trouble finding the actual program that does the lipsynching. You might have to do an Oblivion install over your current one.
Modzillaz
I solved the problem in the end by uninstalling and reinstalling the Construction Set. Now I can create the Lip Synch files that I want. Thanks for the reply.
