SargeWashington
The unofficial US Rifle of WW1, the 1917 Enfield, (formally known as the US Rifle, Cal .30, Model of 1917) is a powerful weapon, chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Boasting impressive accuracy (as well as some impressive weight), the rifle was the go-to weapon for US troops in WW1, and still held its own place in WW2. Most famously utilized alongside a Colt 1911 by SGT Alvin York on the day he earned his Congressional Medal of Honor, the 1917 was originally designed as the P14 Enfield, and then 'up-calibered' for US troops using the .30-06 round. Utilizing an internal magazine that holds 6 rounds, the weapon can be fed from 5-round stripper clips. I've tried to model it, but unfortunately my skills are severely lacking. Edited July 2, 2015 by SargeWashington
