To increase FPS through the ".ini" files

I am sure there is a way to disable set guide lines in the default.ini's, I just am unsure what to do - Will any person with this experience help guide me please?

I would have my signature applied but has yet I haven't been able to. I have a Massive computer with RAM over 12gb phys. and 22gb virtual, and i7-3.8GHz processor, and six (6) independent hard drives = over 4TB.

My question really is "How do I disengage the FPS standard for a 60HZ Monitor"?

My FPS will not increase beyond the 60 FPS!

Please respond,

Rob

No. The engine will not let you, and it would not be a good idea to increase it past 60fps if you could.

It has nothing to do with your hardware.

... yes it does. It's called Vsync, a simple google search should reveal to you how it works and how to disable it with your card.

This is pretty common in any game/hardware configuration. Get your latest drivers and hardware control panel from your hardware manufacturer. There's nothing wrong with increasing your fps in any program over 60, but it may cause some screen tearing, which isn't a big deal.

Also try changing iPresentInterval=1 to 0 in the ini file (make sure you backup first).
