Oblivion crashing

Update: I think it's Fran's 4.5b. I did a clean install, restoring only my saves and all updated tools. I only installed the Unofficial Patch, Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch, Unofficial Mods Patch, and the Unofficial Supplementals (BOSS'd, rebuilt Bashed Patch, and ran LODGen after this, ran around for a few minutes and it worked fine).

I then installed Fran's from the .exe on TESNexus (Normal Loot, Normal exp gain, yes to MOBS and Living Economy), did the boss/bashed etc. I loaded up the save, ran east about 20-25 yards and then turned back to the sewers. The first time, a little after "prices set" appeared on the top left, it crashed. The second time Oblivion crashed as soon as it said "prices set."

So is that it? Is there a fix or do I have to go Franless?

EDIT: The crashes probably don't have anything to do with "prices set." I just stood still and that showed up, then I moved down to the shore and started walking back to the sewers. Worked for a bit, then as soon as the dock just outside the sewers popped (as in popped into view, not faded into view like the trees and rocks), it crashed.

Just logging more details here in case anyone can help. Loaded up again, didn't crash until the Vilverin ruins popped into view. I'm going to try deactivating Fran and installing the next on my list (Bob's Armory) and just trundle on.

No. 2: Yep, looks like it's Fran's so far-successfully got to Vilverin (and promptly died to those bandits). I'll do the rest of the mods tomorrow afternoon and if they all work, I'll look for a replacement for Fran. Shame. Don't close this though, I don't know if I'll be having problems.

---------------------------------

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? On a lark I reinstalled Francesco's but disabled the optional items and creatures .esm's. IT WORKS! No crashes for about 10-15 minutes, so I'll just update if I crash again from another mod.

Thanks Hickory and bben.
