Kaya47
Hello! I`m having some problems exporting my mesh from blender to a nif file. I want to merge two meshes into single mesh (hair and hat). In blender i select both objects and press Ctrl + J to merge them. After exporting the object into nif file and opening it in Nifskope, i see a NiNode with both objects separated. What i need is a single object without NiNode but a NiTriStripsData that covers both objects. How can i do this?
baduk
Hi! You need to make the object have the same material cause the exporter will separate the mesh based on material. If you dont want to redo the texture and uv maps then you can put all the existing maps on one texture, just stick one ontop of the other, so ir it was 2 512x512 textures you can make it a 1024x512 texture. Kaya47
My friend, you just made my day. I think you wrote some tutorials for blender or nifskope if i`m not mistaken that helped me very much. I`d give you 10 kudos if i could. Thank you!! baduk
Hi! Glad it helped you, although i have never written a tutorial for blendering or nifskoping. Only just posting on threads so far.
