CTD after loading screens, mostly in combat

My game crashes when I load new areas and loading saves in combat at random. At times I can play for an hour without trouble if I'm lucky. I'm sitting on a fairly low end rig here so it could be that some of the mods I have may be too intensive, any help on this would be great.

1. Do you have all the mandatory crash protection mods installed?

2. Does this happen on a new game?

3. Have you cleaned your game of dirty scripts left behind by uninstalls?

4. Have you optimized textures?

1. I have ENBoost + ssme. Though I think I read somewhere that ssme is useless since skse 1.7.2. Any other recommendations?

2. I have tried 3 new games since I finished up with modding. Got rid of a few mods that I thought may have been too intensive for each one.

3. Using mod organizer and I don't uninstall mods besides textures and such if I keep using the same save.

4. Totally forgot to use optimizer textures. Will see if that helps. Thanks!
