someguynamedjoe
For anyone interested, we could still use more help.
otis0310
Returning afterwards is good, esp. if you can get the rest of the gold bars somehow. However, owning the casino is no go, if you want one, the Lucky 38 is a beter choice. Remember that cloud? The cloud has been there forever, it makes no sense for it to disperse now, and it makes no sense that any customers would choose to wander through it when the strip is more accessible and has no cloud. Any attempt to make it into a casino would quickly lose all plot credibility, sorry.

otis0310
Something about the materials used to create the building I believe, I forgot the details. But believe the cloud got there by using substandard equipment that gave off some cloud, I think it was once held in check by something which since broke down probably because of overload. As I said I forgot the details, but if you can find a lore friendly way I'd like to hear it,

Makes for great defence if needed and you could just simply flood certain tunnels that has enemies in it. But if members of certain factions are in it you get penalty points or casino reputation penalty points (== less visitors). Though *technically* I suppose you could repair whatever kept the cloud in check before with the help of your lovely BoS assistent ... technically. someguynamedjoe
Doesn't have to be a casino. Just use it the way Elijah intended; as a treasure trove of old world weapons to bring the BoS to power once more.

Just use it the way Elijah intended; as a treasure trove of old world weapons to bring the BoS to power once more.elijah was for recruits which would make sense if enough BOS members to surpass the realistic number (less then 1000 in the mojave) so pretty much every remaining NCR member who wasent at hoover dam would convert to BOS wearing tesla armor mk II like in fallout 3 (elijah likes new technology and could learn how to make it through ED-E who has designs for hellfire armor and duraframe eyebots and variuos enclave projects) and probably would improve helios one so it could ethier have an improved Archimedes laser http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41406 something like that one that works more then once a day with better range or rig it to provide power to a massive hologram army and use hoover dam for similar purposes
Ruadhan2300
hehe, ncrrangerer, thanks for the referral. problem with the hologram tech as I see it, it can't be used convieniently for an army due to range limits on the projectors...I guess you could argue a converted Helios One would be a powerful and large enough one though... ncrrangerer
thats exactly the point plus u could have many of them scattered through out the mojave
billygoat654
i think it would be cool to have holoemitters that you can deploy like a mine and it lasts for X amount of mins. once an enemy gets close enough to activate it. being able to stick them on walls and celings would also be cool.
