Rawesyn
Ok, few questions, how do I create runes(like make more GrandMaster Flame Runes), how do I make custom enchants on weapons and armor, can this mod do that? I've figured out how to put like fire effects/shock effects, and such on a custom amde sword, but cant I add like +20 fire damage to it?

DarkeWolf
Hiya Rawesyn- Ok... as a member of the staff, I DO have to let you know that bumping threads is against the rules here. So your post at 7:01 pm was a no-no. Please don't do that, as we staffers will lock threads that we see that happening in.This is only a "let you know" post, not a warning or a strike or anything like that. But it's not something that I want to see anybody really get into trouble for ;) I'm a few versions behind on the TWF. In the older versions that I've played, creating specific runes weren't able to do. I'm going to download the most recent version and test it out to see if I can get you any answers to the other questions. But, I can tell you, that if by "custom" you mean ones that weren't included in any of the games, then no. That would require use of the toolset to create the files necessary for the game to understand such things.
DarkeWolf
Ugh. Newest version of TWF gives me install problems. In the list it says that it's missing requirements for it to run. Most likely because I'm only at patch 1.02 :(Hopefully somebody that knows more about the current version of the mod will respond. Or you could try Phaenen's threads over on social.bioware. http://social.bioware.com/project/672/Or you could check out her website http://dragonage.phaenan.net/
Phaenan
Ugh. Newest version of TWF gives me install problems. In the list it says that it's missing requirements for it to run. Most likely because I'm only at patch 1.02 :( Indeed, I use a 1.03 API function in one script, and more importantly my UI mod isn't compatible with the pre-Awakening game. Which is basically why I did use that specific API function, since I was bound to inforce the 1.03 patch requirement anyway. For what it's worth, you can edit the manifest to remove the patch requirement ; as long as you also remove the Scaleform.erf files (the modded UI) found in AddIns/phae_*/yada and set the configuration to use the pre-UI enchantment routines (or don't use Enchantment at all, obviously) everything else should work fine on 1.02, albeit untested. Or you could try Phaenen's threads over on social.bioware. http://social.bioware.com/project/672/Or you could check out her website http://dragonage.phaenan.net/ The BSN project page is usually a good place to start, yep, since I'm checking it more often than I do Nexus. Although, PM'ing me over here does work quite well. You can do all that. For the runes, you have a quick guide on the website manual. The steps described in that guide - and the inscriptions guide it refers to - involve the Enchantment craftskill coming with TWF; if you wish to make the modifications (e.g. +20 Fire Damage) without bothering with that craft skill, you can use the Override Mode to change items properties in a more direct way, including runes' properties. (cf. the website manual, again, to see how to enable that mode)
