Arthur Natural Environments v2 9 7 vs Kibosh Natural Environments

When it comes to the weather, can't really see the difference between Arthur's and Weather All Natural.

But I guess people prefer All Natural for the Real Lights and the Natural Interiors.

Good thing that Arthur's and All Natural seem to work together just fine, because Arthur's got 3 options (Enhanced Water, vegetation, and habitat) that All Natural doesn't have.

Whenever you go into a building where there's an NPC who owns it, it's normal for that NPC to follow you around at a discreet distance. They don't know you from Uriel Septim and they're keeping an eye to make sure you don't steal anything.

If every NPC you meet starts following you around, that sounds like a bug of some sort. The only ones who should be stalking you are merchants and the owners of the house\shop\inn.

You can use Bash to modify the minimum distance at which an NPC passerby will turn towards you and offer a greeting, but that isn't the same thing.

Also, as has been told to you at least five times in this thread alone, the reason people prefer All Natural over Arthur's is because ARTHUR'S IS FULL OF BUGS. I honestly don't understand why you won't listen to this advice. Everyone just wants to help you have the best experience playing Oblivion that you possibly can. Is there a reason that you really, really, want to use Arthur's after everyone has told you that there are far superior and more stable environment mods available, AND given you links to download those mods?

If you still insist on using Arthur's after all of this, the problem is that you are unlikely to find much helpful advice when something inevitably goes wrong. You'll post your load order and the response will be, "Get rid of Arthur's (whatever). Use (this one) instead."

I'm not saying this to be unkind, just giving you one final heads up. I don't like to see people doing things that are going to make them unhappy later, because everyone here loves this game and it's a shame to invite trouble in by using mods that are well-known to have problems.

Edited for clarification and because I was unnecessarily harsh in my first response. Remind me not to post pre-coffee!

Actually, I was just commenting on Arthur's and Weather - All Natural when in came to their weather concerns. I honestly have not encountered any Arthur bugs yet. But that doesn't mean that I am against Weather - All Natural. Heck, I learned to to the Bashed Patch thing early this morning, and I have been having a few days' bad sleep because of mods and mod-researching, just so I could activate Weather - All Natural.

All I am saying is that applying Weather - All Natural is more complicated, thanks to the fact that you have to learn how to use Wrye Bash. And without the reply of Smooth613, I would not have learned about the Picture tutorials

I feel sorry for the next guy who discovers modding and doesn't have the mind to understand how to use mod tools and have to go around the net posting threads and asking for help...

I have this one thing to say though; after doing the Wrye Bash Patch thing using the pictorial guide, and activating the Bash Patch in my load order, I have encountered some very heart-breaking (and consistent) crashes and a bug where the weight my character could carry became 30 from 150. But after deactivating it from the load order, everything more or less loads up, at least I could get into the game.

I extracted Natural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.esp from Arthur's Natural Environments 2.9.7 using OBMM. Now:

1. I could activate Arthur's Natural Environments, selecting only and ONLY Natural Habitat by Max Tael. Or I could extract the esp file as adviced above in the quote.

But I noticed that there are meshes and texture files relating to the creatures included in Natural Habitat by Max Tael. So:

2. Should I take the Natural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.esp file and disregard the Meshes and Textures directories or should I activate Arthur's Natural Environment, but only selecting Natural Habitat by Max Tael?

Any advice from more experienced people would be appreciated.

I have Weather - All Natural and do not wish to activate the weather component of Arthur's Natural Environment 2.9.7.

UPDATE: Whoops, wrong post.
