FlankerDFR Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Like many; I’ve got a bunch of mods installed in my copy of FNV. I’ve also been using the GECK to tweak various mod weapon stats to where I think they should be. Recently though…………….I’ve run into an issue where every time I use the GECK to tweak a weapon, or even just look at its stats without adjusting any of its values, I find when I start my game back up I’ve got two script based mod functions have stopped working. I’ve installed and have been using Corejob’s select fire script/mod to convert a number of full auto weapons to selective fire, and I’m also using Gopher’s excellent Recon Night/Thermal vision mod. Both mods work with/through NVSE, which I have installed. Neither of these mods will work when I fire my game back up, after using the GECK as noted above. However…………….if I start a new game…………….they work fine again? After starting my third new game in three days…………….not only was I really ****** off, but I’ve had to stop using the GECK to do anything at all, as it certainly seems it’s somehow screwing up the script functions of these two mods. I’ve backed up my mod load order, and used the FOMM to auto generate a recommended mod load order which I using now (thinking maybe my helter skelter mod load order was causing the problem).
