Can't get IMAGINATOR or CINEMATECH to work.

So, when these mods hit FO3 I was super exited, as they're both amongst my favorite mods for New Vegas and I was about to start a brand new game of FO3. I installed them both and neither will work. CINEMATECH shows up in my pip boy, but does not actually change any visual effects. The IMAGINATOR doesn't even want to show up in my pip boy. At first (and after some brief discussions with someone on the comments section of the IMAGINATOR mod) I thought it may have been a mod conflict. So, per his suggestion, I shut down every mod but the IMAGINATOR and CINEMATECH...still no go, same darn thing. I tried them separately. I reinstalled them both multiple times. I deleted merged patches and made new ones. I have no idea what's going on here. Neither is a particularly "complicated" mod, and they've always ran smoothly on New Vegas. Also, I can't find anyone having a similar problem in the past few days these mods have been out. I'm completely baffled. The only thing I can think of is that something in my .ini file might be making them not work? Perhaps something with DarNified UI or something a mod put there? I swapped out the .ini file in my "mygames/fallout3" folder for a backup of the "vanilla" .ini file and still nothing...so...I don't know. I'm at a complete loss here folks.

I see it's been 7 1/2 YEARS since your post and with not even one reply. I also have the exact same trouble with FO3 imaginator using NMM (I use fomm for graphics adjustments, and I've had imaginator operating correctly using both those or separately). It's really weird because sometimes when I re-download the game it will be there and sometimes not. I eventually manage to get it working but only after VERY MUCH lengthy hassling involving so many files and activations and re-downloads that I can never remember the route it took. I currently do not have it in inventory, but I always have the note, and that's why I came to this page. Super disappointing to see nobody replied to you. I've tried some pretty drastic measures to make it work, short of a total cleanup and reset. I have a large and costly (to me) hand-built rig so I know the problem lies not in my equipment (leaving only me, I guess).

Please see the wiki article "How to ask for Help" found here: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/How_to_ask_for_help

You also need to re-read the "Terms and Policies" section about staying on topic. The link is at the top of this and every page. As you noted, the original post is over 7 years old.

Do not "bump" forum threads or comments without any meaningful contribution. Similarly, if a thread has had no reply for a long period, it is better to create a new topic.

With the Imaginator having over four thousand endorsements and Cinematech having over three thousand, it would appear that it is something on your end. Have you read the comments on the mod pages?

Have you check Gopher's youtube video tutorials?
