animelizards Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 I'm not even exaggerating when I say that this mod; Birdie the Bird Follower (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52378/?) is the coolest follower vanilla or mod! He's cute, he sings, he can carry your stuff, he is very small so he doesn't get in the way/trap you, and he can lead you to major cities if you don't want to fast travel. And when you add Flying Mod Beta and zap him with the companion spell, he can fly through the sky with you (and shoot ice storm spells at grounded enemies haha)! But he is not perfect; his texture is pretty low quality and he's a very obnoxious shade of neon green. I'd make a request just to replace the texture with something from Skybirds, but that would require permission from both mod makers (one of which I'm sure isn't even active anymore). Just hear me out; there are sooo many big tough follower/pet/mount mods but not enough tiny little vanity pets just to keep you company (and hold those tons of dragon bones). I'm not gonna ditch my small green friend any time soon but it'd be awesome if someone could take pointers from this mod and improve upon the formula!
