I've gone through many, many different people and at this point I'm just trying to get as many lines out as possible. I know Dark0ne can't help me, we've tried. But basically, I've been having this issue: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2911674-an-issue-with-the-site-buttons-do-nothing/&do=findComment&comment=25726379

It's only for this site. Javascript works on every other site I try it on, and the "isjavascripton" site says it's enabled.

I've tried many, many things. Suffice to say, I have no malware that Malwarebytes, COMODO(which I then uninstalled) and windows defender can detect. Speaking of which, I've tried to see if my software or firewalls are blocking java, They aren't as far as I know.

I have windows 8.1 64 bit, and have tried different browsers, Firefox, Chrome, IE. Nexus's buttons still don't work.

My friend and I have tried to reinstall java freshly, tried older versions of java, and he even did some wonky things by setting a few files in the java folder to windows 98/95 compatibility.

None worked.

Another odd thing, is that occasionally the site will work as it's supposed to, but I don't know why.

I really just wanna download mods and make sure it works for fallout 4. Can anyone assist me?

Just to begin with, Javascript and Java are completly unrelated, the name Javascript was a political move by Netscape to try to associate themselves with Java which at the time was the 'next big thing': https://www.w3.org/community/webed/wiki/A_Short_History_of_JavaScript

The point of this is to say installing Java can have no effect on your problem, if you have left it installed it's VITAL you don't enable in web browsers, after Flash it's one of the widest use exploit vehicles for malware.

The fact that Javascript is built into the browser makes your problem really bizarre. What makes you think it's a problem with Javascript (not saying it isn't a problem with Javascript but interested to know what has lead you to that conclusion.

First place to look is at the top of this site's pages, are you seeing this message:
