Often, but not all the time, when travelling from Bravil to Leyawin, The last half of the bridge, the wooden bridge, disappears and also the first part of the trail on the other side. In addition, some of the land disappears so that I see rocks and trees seemingly suspended in midair. any ideas? I have the uespi unofficial patches installed as well as the official patches and the shivering isles, frostcrag, battlehorn castle mods installed. Using an hp laptop, recent model.

This is nothing to worry about, it's just Oblivion being Oblivion. It's not mod related, it's nothing you've done, it just happens. Simply save your game, exit, and reload to fix the issue.

Slightly more in-depth version: When havoc'd items are placed near cell borders on a slope, and then roll or slide down the slope, and cross over to another cell different from the one they originated in, it causes that cell not to load, resulting in a missing chunk of land as you described. The area you have described is one of the most common areas for this to happen along with the Alyied Ruin across from the Waterfront. This information, about how this error happens, has just recently surfaced/been discovered within the past few months and there is a "patch" in the works by what I understand. Actually there is already a patch released for a couple areas, including the bridge area heading toward Leyawin, to test this theory and so far it's proven correct. The patch fixes the errors by removing or relocating havoc'd items near cell borders of known troublesome areas.

Arthmoor, the person currently in charge of the Unofficial Patches and Supplementals, is the one working on fixing this issue. If you're interested in finding more information I suggest you head over to the BethSoft Forums and read the Unofficial Patch threads.
