pikachuinasombrero
I just had to freshly install Steam and New Vegas on to my computer, as I just upgraded to a new one. However, when I go to launch FOMM, I get the "Something bad has happened" error message. I know it isn't connected to New Vegas, as I can run New Vegas with no problem. It is never able to save any crash reports. Any ideas on what the issue may be? EDIT: I've tried moving both files to a UAC free folder and the error still occurs. Should I just uninstall and reinstall New Vegas and FOMM? Edited February 17, 2011 by pikachuinasombrero

Sti3ld3rby69
Yes, but you should also remove any mods from your common/falloutnewvegas/data folder and put them elsewhere, delete ANY installed mods, reinstall both programs, and then copy them over manually and test a few at a time. I spent two days having NV not work until I tried this solution - running fine now.
