Face Tattoos

Hey All,

Anyone know where the original tattoo sets are? When I try to give my current character a face tattoo, I don't see any in the toolset that look like the ones in the character creation part. Where do the builds for those reside in the database?

Thanks.

I dont have Dragon Age installed atm,so I cant tell it for sure ,but the default tattoos should be located in:

C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\packages\core\textures\high\texturepack.erf --- Just open the erf file in toolset and search for these:

uh_pct_dc1_0t.dds (Dwarf Commoner)

uh_pmt_001_0t.dds (Dwarf Commoner)

uh_pct_dn1_0t.dds (Dwarf Noble)

uh_pct_h01_0t.dds (Human, Elf City/Mage)

uh_pct_h02_0t.dds (Human, Elf City/Mage)

uh_tat_ed1_0t.dds (Elf Dalish)

uh_tat_ed2_0t.dds (Elf Dalish)

uh_tat_ed3_0t.dds (Elf Dalish)

uh_tat_ed4_0t.dds (Elf Dalish)

Now,extract this stuff and copy it in My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Packages/Core/Override folder, tattoos should be visible in toolset now.

Awesome and thanks much!! In the default folder, it only shows the _tat_ only and even when I chose outside of that (*_0t.dds), I didn't know which to choose since I kept thinking that it always had to have "tat" in the file name. There were jut too many to test to find the right one. As an aside, once the extraction and placement of the file(s) are in the override folder, the file(s) have to be renamed _tat_ where needed (example, change "uh_pct_h02_0t.dds" to "uh_tat_h02_0t.dds" as to condense them down into the "tat" list only, otherwise you'd have to choose to look in all tint masks (*_0t.dds) as I noted above..

Again, thanks a lot. :D
