Ok, I'm just going to get straight to it:

When I open up New Vegas, it goes through the spash screens at whatnot, but when It gets up to the part where the Main Menu list should appear, the entire screen goes black, my HUD appears (WTF!? I didn't do anything!) the screen flashes to what it should be for about a second, cuts back to black and BOOM. CTD.

I have absolutely no idea as to what's causing this, and I have tried almost everything (Delete .INIs, Verify Integrity, disable ALL mods, uninstalled recently installed mods, deleted/relocated save folder, restarted computer, reinstall NVSE and 4GBFNV, Bashed patch, LOOT, NVEdit, etc.) but nothing is happening.
What I can confirm, however, is that the game loads up a non-existing character when I start up (as it said it was adding Tribal Pack, Caravan Pack, etc. to inventory on the black screen.) If that even helps, I guess...

This all started when I saved and exited to look for a fix for loyal having irregular facial hair, but when I loaded it back up, chaos unfurled.

Any help? Please?

It doesn't mean it's a menu or UI problem, just that I've broken a menu an UI an it did that basically. I would install a UI mod again to start, it might fix it. If you got more than one, then just install them all again, cause it won't really break anything I guess. I mean you know what you did to break it, so go read those mods again, you probably missed something. If you are not using NMM you should, it makes the uninstall of mods a click basically. Though you might have to uninstall it an delete the mod archives to free up storage space, you know just to install NMM again an get more mods. Boiling it down it sounded like the main menu was broken which is why I figured that or UI an going along with that I've seen it broke like that so I just figured. At any rate it's not a big deal, it's not like you are the first person to ever break a game with mods an have to start over. It's not the end of the world. It's not like it's a short term hobby. Bethesda games last for years with mods. The longest I kept a load order an install was 6 months an it was a major record for me. But I learned as I went.
