kevinshively
Do the Behemoths look messed up in New Vegas without any mods?yes they take what ever is the closest texure.so like if they are near a rock there texture will be the rocks texture. im not sure how to fix this also i want to add the super duper mart building but when i put it in it did the samething and there was no texture in the fallout 3 bsa (textures) so i couldnt fix that either i just need to no how to change the texture of creatures so i can give the behemoth its right texture
Maniac3020
When did you first notice this happening? Have you ever encountered a Behemoth in New Vegas before trying to make a mod? If so, were the Behemoths normally textured? Did you test the game without any mods running? If no mods are causing this, then you have a problem with the game itself, and that will make it very hard to make a working mod. The only things that I can think of that would cause the Behemoths to take nearby textures, is either they are set to be super reflective, and are merely reflecting whatever is near them, or they are missing textures all together, and the game is just pasting whatever it can onto them to make them visible. If disabling all of your mods doesn't fix the problem, I'd recommend re-installing New Vegas, as it's probable that there is something wrong with the files in the game itself. If you do decide to re-install New Vegas, after the uninstaller has finished, (Or steams delete local content window), go into your New Vegas Folder, and delete everything in there to remove any possible problem files before re-installing. quicksilverva
if you dont add the textures to your data/texture file the way you specified in NIFscope, you will have this issue. also if ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated isnt working properly, you could run into this issue as well.
