bigboss0712
i read in the description of EVE that it wasn't compatible with New Vegas Bounties so i was wondering how do they effect each other? and also if i can only choose one, which should i choose? Frogslime
One of the E.V.E. authors has written this in a sticky post: "A test version of EVE v1.17a All DLC has been placed in the UPDATES section of our downloads. It would be really great if some of you would please try it and provide feedback. This BETA test method is being used since 100,000+ players grabbed the most recent "live" version of EVE (v1.16.2); i.e. it would be wise to have a test period before releasing this particular update in order to minimize the risk of a buggy release that might otherwise negatively affect a lot of players.V1.17a provides notable changes in the scripts for creating "remains" such as Ash Piles, Goo Puddles, and Bone Fragments. It specifically fixes a bug that can occur if a mod places items in an NPC's inventory when it is killed. EVE can potentially fail to move those items into the remains it creates, and thus the items can be lost/discarded. An example situation is the New Vegas Bounties series and the fingers it places on victims. This BETA fixes that bug.The installer contains only the EVE FNV - All DLC.esp file. So it is an "update", not a complete package. Be sure to either save a copy of the current file somewhere safe, or use a mod manager that will do that for you ... so that you can easily restore your game back to the way it was prior to this BETA when you have finished testing. Saved games should continue to be compatible.". You may want to try this beta as they are both very good mods, but if you don't want to try the untested E.V.E. beta and can't wait for a fix then you should try the New Vegas Bounties mods, as NV Bounties 1 and 2 are both exceedingly good quest mods. If you like them you should try some of the other mods by Someguy2000. Two other good quest mods by the NV Bounties author are The Inheritance and Russell. If I were you I'd use the potentially buggy v1.17a Version of E.V.E. so both E.V.E. and NV Bounties 1 & 2 can be used.Just remember to keep a separate save file from before installing them, always a good idea for before installing any mod. Small warning: all mods by Someguy2000 use a lot of profanity and have violent imagery in their language, so the verbally sensitive need not use said mods. (I doubt that very many Fallout: New Vegas players are bothered by swearing in games though.)
