capman
Hello I'm trying to import and export a body mesh with blender. Works great with the published export settings I found. With on exception. There is a hole in one of the feet.See picture. Any idea what the cause might be? No changes were made in blender. An import followed by an export in nif format. After the export in nifskope I checked the shader settings that they are set for skin and windows env mapping.I also had to manually set te TSpace Flag to 0 in NiTriStripsData which disabled all tangents and binormals, reducing file size by 15%. The actual file size is 26KBytes smaller than the original. Seems something gets lost in the process.Which is also confirmed by the total number of triangles. The original has 4000 more than the exported version. Is this related to the hole in the foot? Quetzlsacatanango
Highlight the vertices around the hole and do a ctrl-n to recalc normals.
capman
Highlight the vertices around the hole and do a ctrl-n to recalc normals. Thanks Quetzl That step was part of the solution. Before I had to remove two faces and set them again. There also was another hole in the toe. Seems to be an issue with the BoG Berry Body.
