FatalIllusion
As all of you know, new vegas has some performance issues.I stopped playing it because I want to wait for NMC's pack and a optimal tool that let me play without stutter. This tool, for the oblivion community,is called streamline and it works perfectly! My question is...Is possible to make a similar tool for new vegas?
WizardOfAtlantis
There is the New Vegas Stutter Remover.
FatalIllusion
I know mate, but you know how streamline is better than NVSR! Btw,I'll try to use it with enhanced shaders ddl..Btw it is impossible to create a NV streamline?
LtRhapthorn
Can we get a link to this streamline?
FatalIllusion
Can we get a link to this streamline? here is the link Oblivion Streamline.Really,I think that, because the game is built on the same engine, a similar program would kill the performance problems on new vegas as the author did on oblivion:)
bben46
The Oblivion Streamline mod was written by a highly skilled programmer called Jaga. If you look, it is listed as a beta version and was never completed. - even as a beta it works very well for what does. Jaga vanished from the modding world right after that last v3.1 beta update in October of 2008. He was also well into another mod that could have had a significant effect on Oblivion game play that was never released except to a very few testers. Several other modders attempted to continue his work, but none seemed to have the unique skill set needed and what he did has not been duplicated since. TL:DR - Not likely to see something like Streamline for FONV - But, we can always hope. FatalIllusion
Oh well,I already hope.Lets wait for more answers,is possible that there are no great modders that can try to create something similar? I am pretty sure that something will come out
LtRhapthorn
It's a damn fine shame when one of the best modders out there goes off the radar. If someone was found with the unique skill sets again, we could all be playing High-Res on RM computers  Edited February 20, 2011 by LtRhapthorn
FatalIllusion
So there is no way to look at what the program does and try to make something similar(even if not perfect as streamline)? I guess that most of the tweaks can work on new vegas too
LtRhapthorn
Well, I'm assuming he did it using scripts, which should be fairly easy to port over, however, I don't own Oblivion, so I can't open the file.
