kittie885
In Oblivion my favorite way to kill is through poison. There are some NPC's who drive me crazy refusing to eat the food, though. I think a really fun way to get around the no eating thing would be if there were a way I could kill them with a kiss like the old time female assassins from Japan. It could include engaging in dialogue with the npc and if the npc's disposition toward you is high enough (or maybe it could depend on your speechcraft skill) the dialogue option for "kiss" would come up followed by some text describing the action. When the dialogue screen is closed it could take a few seconds, maybe ten or fifteen, for the npc to drop dead just as if he or she had eaten a poisoned apple. Nobody would be any the wiser.
Ferryt
I really like this idea and it would bypass the whole spell/ability route that most modders use to implement things like this -- something which just destroys immersion for me. I would definitely be using this mod if someone makes it. The only caveat I would have here, is that it should require an actual poison of come kind to be present in the Player's inventory, and that poison would be removed after the use. The problem with NPCs refusing to eat a poisoned apple could be due to a number of things, at least some of which can be solved with minimal fiddling in the CS, if you're so inclined. First of all there might be nothing in their AI to get them to eat anything at all. Secondly, some NPCs seem to have an endless supply of food, and that's expected since they do have eat routines and some NPCs have a low-enough respectability to steal if they run out of food. The regenerating food supply can be handled in the CS, as well. It IS an annoying thing, though. I certainly agree with you on that point.
